Vacation Plans

We are hitting the road next week. We are driving six hours with four young children to northern Michigan. Crazy? Maybe a little bit, lol. However, when you have woods to walk in and the beautiful lake my in-laws live on where we stay, who wouldn't love time away in that setting?

Our kids hate the ride but love the destination. They are all excited and I'm hoping for some trail rides with just hubby or perhaps a walk through the woods in the evening (with a big stick in case of bears or coyotes, lol). It's been over a year since we've had a "date" - time alone without any kids.

Should be a fun trip!
