Missed Recital

My stepdaughter's dance recital was last night. We missed it. Being in another state and flat broke made it impossible to get there with the current gas prices and the distance involved. If we had an extra $250 laying around, we would've made the trip. Extra $250? Yeah, like that's going to happen. She's been dancing for something like 12-13 years now. I hope she had a great recital and that we get to see some pictures. We called her, sent her a good luck text and an e-card to her email address. We didn't get a response to the text and she says her Internet is down (it seems like it is always down when it comes to receiving anything from us *eye roll*) but we did catch her by phone anyway. Hope it all went great for her!
