SS was not even 2 when we got married, we went 18 hours away from home to get married and had our honeymoon right after that. BM wouldn't have let us take him out of state even though she complained that we didn't involve him in the wedding.
I wouldn't change anything, it was for us and no one else. Literally it was just my H and I no family came. And we had a beautiful wedding on the beach!
I would love for the son to be in our wedding but there is no way BM will let that happen, he will only be 3 and we are planning on mexico...wish he could be there.
I wish the son could be involved but that is not likely to happen, he will only be 3 and there is no way the BM is going to let him go. We plan on Mexico and with trying to get a passport I bet it is next to impossible. Althought I wish he could be there
Ours weren't involved. We were in the middle of a court fight with the ex over her refusing to allow dh to see his son at all and only see their daughter when he jumped thru hoops for her.
We want to renew our vows and my stepdaughter always said she wanted to be in the bridal party this time but with the way things have been with her the last couple years, I don't know if she feels the same way.
