No. We were secretly married on Halloween and had a ceremony on Nov 2, 2007. So by that time it was too late for her to pull anything.
That's a good way to do it when you're expecting trouble. We didn't let the ex know when we were going to do it either (dh's family could have though...no idea). She had already called my in-laws about my engagement ring so when we married a few months later, she didn't get the chance to whine to the in-laws.
What's funny: I think the ex's sister (who hates me:) ended up getting married on the same day we did a year or two later so we share an anniversary. Hope she's thinking of me every anniversary, lol.
