Biopsy is Done

My thyroid biopsy is done. They finished it a few hours ago. I am trying to keep my mind off of it but blogging isn't doing the job. This biopsy was worse than the first one I had. My neck and shoulder feels sore. Since they biopsied the right side, and I am right-handed, well...it's a little sore to move. Laughing is sore. Swallowing is sore. My neck is swollen, my head hurts and I feel just "icky".
Results are in 7-10 days. Lucky me.

How are you feeling today? How long will it stay sore? I hope it heals up quickly and that your results are good news.
Yesterday was pretty awful. I was really fuzzy all afternoon, chills, headaches. I think he hit a nerve because I had pain in the back of my neck and down my shoulder too. Today is better than yesterday. My mind is more clear and I keep overheating today. It's still sore (and it's getting really itchy) but compared to yesterday, I'll take it. I should feel better by tomorrow or the next day I'd think.
This caught me off guard because my first biopsy was nothing compared to this one. I was talking and laughing and drove myself home no problem with my first one. I needed help all day yesterday to do everything.
