DJ Ashba

*sigh*

Anybody who knows me knows that I have a chocolate and pepsi addiction. I have another one now - DJ Ashba. I love his music. His eyes are gorgeous. He plays guitar like...*sigh* I can gush like a teenager over him! If you have myspace, search for his music (Wonder, Someday, and Love Always lets Me Down). Love it!!

My husband doesn't understand why I added DJ Ashba to my freebie list (he has Jessica Alba...I have DJ Ashba now - along with Jon Bon Jovi and Johnny Depp as a Pirate, lol). He doesn't get it that the way he plays his guitar and his blue eyes remind me of the first time I saw my husband up on stage playing guitar with the gorgeous blue eyes. Sometimes, a man playing guitar is just a man playing a guitar and sometimes, you can tell it is a great love and the guitar playing is almost sensual. I haven't told him yet either, lol. I'm letting him hang out on a string for awhile wondering what all the fuss is over DJ Ashba. I'm not sure if he'd believe me anyway:)

I'd love to meet DJ Ashba. I'd love to get one of his guitars that he's designed for my husband too.

Here's my list!

1. I don't eat any meat with a bone in it (Get your mind outta the gutter! My husband is very happy in that area thank you very much.). I am serious...chicken, steak, pork - if it has a bone, don't bring it into my house. Boneless only please!
2. I believe in ghosts/spirits of loved ones gone (human or pet) that I've known plus your average "ghost hanging around the house that you don't know" ghost. I've seen them.
3. I am neurotic when it comes to safety - suffocatingly so.
4. I LOVE to rock out with my kids. I can actually handle listening to their music and enjoy it (as long as they don't put country on...yak). Watch this old bat dance! lol While I still love my 80's and 90's music I grew up on, I also enjoy the pop and R&B (and some hip hop) my kids listen to. This mom isn't out of it yet!
5. I can swear like a sailor and usually have to monitor my mouth in public so something doesn't slip out that shouldn't (especially at the kids' school).
6. I can be nasty mean when it comes to anybody hurting my family (husband and kids). I'm generally quiet but being very emotional, I turn into a Lioness when the threat of hurt/harm to my family exists. Nobody messes with my family!

For Better or For Worse

Wow! The comic, For Better or For Worse family drama is ending. I used to read this when I was a kid. I haven't read the comics in many years now so I wasn't aware that they aged these characters along with the comic strip. That is a really good idea. Now I wish I'd checked it out to see through the years.

If you were a devoted follower of this comic strip, it's not REALLY ending. The writer, Lynn Johnston, will have about a month of new strips of when Elizabeth and Michael were very young. Then it will merge into a combination of new and old strips.

So take heart devoted FOOBers...it's not really the end.
