I hope when she is 18, one of those "don't want to wait" moments ends up with a rush to get married. It doesn't help that his parents are all about them getting married, where they will get married (they have the PERFECT place picked out already), etc. (THAT drives me NUTS!) They're seniors in high school. All this marriage talk so soon makes me ornery. Remember me?<br /><br />I agree strongly that your daughter should wait until after she has her degree to even think about getting married. For one, life is going to be much different once she has graduated and starts working. College life is not the same as work life. Plus, there really is no rush. If the relationship lasts through school, then obviously they will still be there for each other when they are finished with school.
