Best Place to Shop for Women's Clothes?

>> Friday, November 19, 2010

What is the best place to shop for women's clothes for trendy yet affordable clothes?  I did not get the fashion gene but as the weight drops off, I want to shop for better looking and better fitting clothes.  If I could figure out how to lose weight fast, I'd get myself some great clothes for the holidays as presents to myself.

I know of JCPenney, Wal-Mart (where I don't want to buy my clothes from anymore), and Maurice's but I want better choices.  Any ideas?

I don't know what area you're in. But Old Navy has some cute and fashionable items for very reasonable prices. If you're looking for more affordable I find some steals at Target that are super cute, and better quality than wal-mart. I don't know if you ever need more "dress up" style clothes, but the Limited is great for that. I like the Gap for basics....love their plain t's, tanks, fleeces, etc. Hope this helps! : )

Thanks! I think I was in an Old Navy years ago. I will check them out. We have to have one somewhere within an hour's drive of us (we're in the boonies). I'll look at Target too. I haven't shopped there in years either. When we moved to the boonies, it made Wal-Mart 7 miles up the road much easier but I'm not crazy about their clothes. I can't believe how different things are now that I'm a stay-at-home mom. When I worked, I'd spend $300 on a suit without a twitch. Now I have the cheapest clothes I can find but I want to wear something a little more fashionable now.
